Just after I left my apartment today it started snowing!
There wasn't much, only a few minutes worth, which soon melted. I was just surprised to see it so early. I'll probably still have to wait until late December or early January to make a snow-man but I think it's going to be very cold for many months.

If it will make you feel any better about the cold weather over there, at the moment the air conditioning in our office is set to very cold. We're all freezing down here. They probably won't get around to fixing it until tomorrow, when it will be hotter again.
No, I expect the end of the world will be hotter for me. Actually, a little brimstone would be nice about now.
I just checked today's forecast and there's supposed to be a "morning flurry" with a top of 2 and a low of -8˙C!!
Brrr! I'm going back to bed!
